Open your website, using Google Chrome browser. Press F12 to open Chrome DevTools. Turn on device mode by pressing the Toggle device mode icon. When device mode is enabled, the icon turns blue and the viewport transforms into a device emulator: You can also toggle device mode on/off using the keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+M (or Cmd+Shift+M on Mac). As of Chrome 52, the UI has changed. When the Developer Tools dialog is open, you select the vertical ellipsis and can then choose the docking position: Select the icon on the left to open the Chrome Developer Tools in a new window.

When you want to inspect a DOM node's styles or attributes, right-click the elementand select Inspect.
